It’s time to get this show on the road....Right now I could throw a hammer through my laptop so I don’t have to spend two hours trying to re activate, re install and then try and figure out why the hell Softimage keeps crashing until I find an angel in a forum who wrote "try to run as admin." Life, pc and software is complicated.
Shuttlecock
Badminton is one of my favourite summer games. usually I play on the grass with no real rules (only to have a 6ft brother who enjoys aiming way above my head.) So I have a good understanding of how it moves in the air when hit by the racquet.

From what I remember the shuttlecock is hit from the hard rubber end which then rotates 180 in the air, in turn allows the opponent to hit it back. Generally speaking when a object is dropped it tends to land heavy side down. I will be referring to the reference video to analyse how the shuttlecock lands and bounces.
